An awarding winning Law Firm based in Bath city centre is seeking a Billing Administrator/ Assistant, paying up to £28,000 plus a great benefits package, to join their growing team.
This a relatively new function for the law firm and was established due to client demand. It will be supporting the attorneys based in both Bath and the London office with their billing needs. With the function only being two/three years old, there will be loads of scope for growth and development for this new member of the team!
Please note this is a hybrid working role, 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, but some flexibility will be given during busy periods in the billing team.
Duties will include the following:
- Act as first point of contact for queries and requests from the firms attorneys across the UK
- Managing WIP reports and preparing reports for distribution to fee earners and partners
- Amending WIP reports and prepare draft bills
- Finalise client bills
- Assist the Billing Coordinator with upload of eBilling files
- Oversee compliance with internal billing procedures
- Communicate with fee earners and partners plus external clients
- Liaise with internal accounts team
- Manage disbursements
- Request the opening of new case files
The ideal candidate will have 6 months to a years experience working in a Billing Function and will be looking to join a new company for growth and development. This could either be a Law firm or professional services company ideally. You will be numerically minded, analytic in your way of working as well as a great eye for detail. Having the ability to manage your own workload and be self-motivated, but on the other side this is a very team orientated department, so they are looking for a real team player who will look to go above and beyond in everything they do.
