We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected LEV specialist with a strong presence across the UK. Due to recently securing new contracts in the South West of England, they are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable LEV Testing Engineer to provide an efficient service and build strong working relationships with new contracts. Our client requires a candidate who has excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach to their work. You will be predominantly covering sites across: Bath, Bristol, Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster, Calne, Yate, Dursley, Stroud, Swindon, Thornbury, Portishead, Keynsham, Clevedon, Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Wells, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Street, Yeovil, Shaftesbury, Taunton, Wellington, Ilminster, Cardiff, Newport, Chepstow, Barry, Pontypool, Axminster.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong hands-on experience with the testing, inspections and maintenance of LEV systems
- Will hold the BOHS P601 qualification as a minimum
- Comfortable producing detailed service reports
- Excellent level of industry technical knowledge, including HSG 258 & COSHH guidelines
- Hardworking and flexible attitude
- IT literate
The Role:
- Conducting the thorough inspections and testing of LEV systems across a mixed portfolio of clients sites
- Fume cupboard inspections
- Installations and repairs of dust and fume extraction systems
- Emissions testing
- Completing reviews and signing off on assessments
- Upselling of further company services to clients
- Producing detailed service reports
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss requirements and answer technical issues
- Working in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Travelling in line with company requirements
