Job Title: Project LeadType of Business: Public SectorLocation: BathHourly Rate: £15.60Start Date: ASAPLength of Contract: 4 MonthsHours: 22GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Project Lead to our Public Sector, Education client based in Bath. The Project Lead will have responsibility for gathering and formatting data related to Knowledge Exchange activities. They will also analyse this date to understand trends that will inform and underpin strategic Knowledge Exchange initiatives.Main Duties of the Project Lead:

  • Lead the preparation and development of KE projects and activities (i.e. Events, dissemination, workshops, training, etc) to expand external research collaboration and related funding capabilities.
  • Create and maintain robust processes and systems for capturing, analysing and recording data about external relationships, research partnerships and KE metrics for HEBCIS, KEF and KEC.
  • Use Project Management knowledge, experience, and initiative to identify and manage risks and resolve complex issues. Escalating actions/decisions as appropriate.
  • Support the Business Partnership and Knowledge Transfer Partnership to manage and provide administrative, operational and recruitment support as required.
  • Create project plans and progress reports to inform the Head of KE.

Role Requirements:

  • Educated to at least first-degree level or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience of managing people and coordinating projects across internal and external teams
  • Experience of providing analytical and strategic advice to managers
  • Digital capability - comfortable use of digital tools to manage workflow, communication and reporting.
  • Effective problem solving skills and practical communication of solutions.
  • Capability to manage and prioritise workload.
