Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading player within the drinks industry for a Maturation Team Leader. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company's site in West Lothian.

This is a full onsite role. Day shift, 2-week rotation: Week 1 - Mon-Thurs 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1.45 pm, Week 2 Mon-Thurs 7am to 4pm.

A critical role for the business, you will be tasked with leading a team while maintaining manufacturing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulation and company standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day activities of maturation teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Review maturation KPIS regularly
  • Training, development and coaching of staff
  • Other duties deemed relevant to role

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a warehouse environment, preferably within the handling of whisky
  • Strong stock control and GMP knowledge
  • Precious experience in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of IT systems including DRAMs, DRAMScan and Flowlog
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working within brewing or distilling extremely advantageous
