- Assisting with month-end accounts
- Preparation of accruals & prepayments and journal postings
- Ensure internal controls & policy compliance
- Ensure accurate recording of departmental costs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reporting and analysis
- Budgets and forecasts
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers
- Processing payrolls occasionally
- Reconciling PAYE / NIC and ensuring timely payments
- Controlling expense payments and company credit cards
- Completion and return of all Office for National Statistics (ONS) forms
- Ensure internal controls & policy compliance
- Supporting colleagues with ad hoc analysis and business insight
- Working closely with, and supporting, the Financial Controller
- Fully onsite for the first 3 months, and then the opportunity of one day day home working.
