Head of Sales

This opportunity is ideal for a dynamic and results-driven sales leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing high-performing teams, and implementing strategic sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders to drive business success.

What experience and skills will the Head of Sales possess:

  • Significant Sales leadership experience with a proven track record of working with Merchants, Buying Groups and Distributors
  • A huge benefit for this person will be having experience working with a DTC model as well as the traditional B2B sales route, for example experience of working with e commerce platforms including 3rd party sales platforms, such as B&Q Online.
  • A solid understanding of Marketing and the ability to work closely with the internal team to align the efforts of the Sales & Marketing functions.
  • Energetic, ambitious and proactive and with strong motivation skills including appraising, coaching and training.
  • Will have an interest in developing people to their maximum potential, a commitment towards ongoing training and development.
  • Approachable attitude to developing working relationships with senior and other colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to support the external sales team.
