On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Building Management Systems. This role requires a strong technical background in BMS, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

BMS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Building Management Systems to meet client specifications and project requirements.
  • Install, program, and commission BMS hardware and software components.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the appropriate BMS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BMS installations and operations.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance of BMS systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including system designs, project plans, and user manuals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and advancements in BMS technology.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.

BMS Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing, installing, and commissioning Building Management Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS hardware, software, and networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in BMS programming languages and tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and controls is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Tridium, Cylon, Distech, Trend or AutoCAD, would be beneficial
