Customer Service Specialist
£23,500 plus benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are partnered with a leading Energy business, currently seeking to expand their existing team of Customer Service Specialists at offices based in Carlisle. This includes resolving customer queries, troubleshooting solutions, problem solving on a daily basis whilst delivering excellent customer service.
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to inbound messages & calls from customers
- Investigating, booking and coordinating engineer visits as necessary
- Identifying events that may impact business and alert management
- Generating customer documents and communications
- Handling & resolving customer complaints
- Creating, delivering and assisting with new systems implementation
- Reconciling accounts and meter readings
- Reconciling & advising customers on debt levels, escalating as required
- Producing reports on customer accounts from the system
- Forecasting and generating progress reports for the business
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- Experience in customer services
- Those who have worked in a call centre / helpdesk centre would be advantageous
- Full understanding of Microsoft Office package
- Experience handling complaints
- Be literate with various types of technology or willing to learn
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
