Our client is growing Construction company within the High-End Residential space that take on a variety of different project. With a main focus in the London and South of England. The company has experienced considerable growth over the last couple of years and they are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to join the business. This would need to be someone that has come through the Quantity Surveyor Path so they are very technical and have a Proven background in this area.
This is a pivotal role in the business and will report to the MD/Founder and manage a team taking responsibility for all the commercial operations of Project/Quantity Surveying, Project Finance, Procurement and be heavily involved with negotiating and working with third parties to ensure the best terms and prices are reached for the business.
This is a role where you will be able to add real value and impact to the projects and the Business as a who.
A background in the higher end residential business is a must as is having worked for a design and build company.
Personality is key and requires some one with a hands on "will do" approach to things. Although there is an element of flexibility you will also be required in the offices to be part of the business.
