  • Be experienced in managing a diverse range of suppliers, products and services from a wide base.
  • Able to negotiate with suppliers, building relationships, benchmarking performance, all with a broad commercial view.
  • An interest in diverse engineered products and an ability to associate purchased items with finished products would be a significant advantage.
  • Proven and dynamic experience within the role, including teamwork and co-operation, communication, all with a positive and proactive attitude towards purchasing.
Purchasing Co-Ordinator Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a purchasing function, within an engineering manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in a range of IT software’s, especially MS applications and ERP software platforms
  • Experienced in supplier negotiations, relationship building, performance benchmarking, and maintaining a strong commercial perspective
  • A keen interest in engineered products and the ability to associate purchased components with finished products is highly advantageous
