Job Description:

We are seeking a motivatedProject Quantity Surveyorto join a successful, medium sized main contractor based in Beckenham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced Senior Surveyor looking after 2 projects with a combined construction value of 25m. The projects cover both residential new build (RC Frame) and an industrial refurbishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process for key packages, across both projects Ensure that all procurement activities are in line with the project requirements and budget.
  • Assist in the selection, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors for specified packages.
  • Monitor performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Process subcontractor valuations and invoices for specific packages. Ensure that all payments are accurate, on time, and in accordance with the contract terms.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on procurement, valuation processing, and cost management to senior surveyor.
  • Variations, valuations, CVRs
  • Final Accounts

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential developments (preferably high-rise or RC frame).
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, subcontractor management, and cost control.
  • Experience in managing and processing subcontractor valuations and invoices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
