28 - 32k, HG3, 9am - 4pm, 5 days over 7 - 2 weekend days per month off, 28 days holiday, parking, staff discounts, training

Due to the success of this family business the owners are seeking an experienced and creative chef who would enjoy the autonomy to create seasonally led menus showcasing local produce:

• Cooking to order
• Day to day running of the kitchen
• Menu writing
• Stock management
• Training and mentoring staff as required

We would expect the successful chef to have experience working in the hospitality industry. Ideally you will have some kitchen management experience and an interest in presentation, however training can be given.

This would be an ideal role if you are a Head Chef or Sous Chef looking for daytime, straight 8 hour shifts. An experienced and ambitious Chef de Partie would also be considered.

You will be joining a caf located in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, the business has a real focus on quality so you will be able to work very closely with suppliers including external training opportunities if you want to further your skillset. This focus extends to ensuring there is a happy atmosphere for both customers and staff. You will feel valued and benefit from an owner who understands you need a life outside of work too!

Due to the rural location of the caf you will need to have your own transport, which would make it commutable from Harrogate, Ripon, Skipton and North Leeds areas.
