We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making within our manufacturing operations.

Description
Cost Accountant:
- Maintain and analyze cost records, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Conduct variance analysis on actual vs. budgeted costs and provide recommendations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements.
- Preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Provide financial projections and scenario analysis to support business planning.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate cost estimations for new products.
- Track inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of stock levels.
- Analyze and reconcile standard and actual costs, ensuring proper adjustments.
- Implement internal controls to optimize material usage and reduce waste.
Profile
A successful Cost Accountant should have:
- Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with finance and operational teams.
