The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting a Financial Accountant on behalf of a large specialist service business with offices in Bedford.

The Role

As Financial Accountant you will work to support statutory reporting, Capex and some minor management accounts areas. Day to day duties will consist of:

  • Preparation of year end financial statements for multiple entities within the group under FRS102.
  • Preparation of information for tax advisors to allow for the production of outsourced tax computations.
  • Process inter-company loans transactions and interest.
  • Responsibility for the inter-company loans reconciliation.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Assist in the maintaining of the groups cashflow forecast.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register for all entities.
  • Prepare the monthly capex reporting schedule for all ongoing projects.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Support to the CFO and PE partners with any ad-hoc analysis

Role of Financial Accountant in Bedford is commutable from MK, Northampton, Rushden and surrounding areas and working on a Hybrid basis and offering a salary of £40-50K + Study DOE.
