Our client is an exciting and high growth manufacturing business As such, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a progressive Qualified Accountant or those that aim to be qualified within 12/18 Months to join the business.

This position will initially have a focus towards Financial & Technical accounting and therefore could also prove an ideal 1st or 2nd move for a practice trained accountant / auditor wishing to move into Industry.

  • Company accounting rules and regulations including FRS102 and IFRS
  • End to End Weekly / Monthly Accounting on behalf of 5 SME Group Companies
  • Assisting the Group Financial Controller with the audit process ensuring all deliverables achieved by set deadlines.
  • Consolidation of groups including acquisitions and disposals
  • Strong analysis to aid decision making
  • Maintaining statutory registers, completing statutory forms and resolutions
  • Ensuring corporation tax and deferred tax
  • Assisting with monthly reporting including Board reports
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements including VAT, Corporation tax, Payroll and P11ds.
  • Working alongside the finance team and wider business ensuring compliance
  • Assisting with the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes follows and achieves the desired timescales
  • Working alongside the Group Financial Controller to ensure an appropriate internal control framework is in place to safeguard the business
  • Creating, developing, and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Assisting in the finance function to achieve its goals, ambitions and objectives and become best in class

A good understanding of FRS102 and / or IFRS is required with the desire to be involved with a number of improvement projects alongside BAU accounting activity.
