Description
Management Accountant
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Provide insights into financial performance and recommend actions for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget adherence and investigate variances
- Analyze production and operational costs to identify areas of efficiency and waste reduction.
- Support pricing strategies through cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with operational teams to understand financial impacts and support decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors and support compliance with financial regulations.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A strong aptitude for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
