Are you ready to take on an incredible remote Accounts Assistant Opportunity? We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opening Finance! This is a 3-month temporary position with the possibility of being permanent. In this role, you will work closely with the Manager, primarily handling the company's financial transactions, including processing invoices and purchase orders, and ensuring all financial documents are accurately filed in our electronic storage system. Your expertise in Xero is essential as you will need to work independently and be the go-to person for all things finance-related.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee client accounts, ensuring the accuracy of information.
- Generate, send, and follow up on sales invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Receive, validate, and enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.
- Receive, validate, and enter employee expenses into the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly payment runs for suppliers and employees.
- Perform real-time bank reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proficient at using Xero.
- Experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- High attention to detail.
- Process-oriented and driven.
- Experience of preparing management reports.
