Clinical Lead Physiotherapist – Competitive Salary – Bedford Area, Bedfordshire

The Role

Are you an experienced HCPC-registered Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a strong background in leadership? Do you want to take on a new challenge where your clinical expertise and management skills can shine?

We’re looking for a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our friendly and growing private practice in Bedfordshire. Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time opportunity (minimum 19 hours per week), we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will manage a dynamic team, ensuring clinical and service excellence across the practice. You will oversee day-to-day clinical operations and service development, working alongside the Practice Manager and the Group Management Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take on a leadership role while still delivering hands-on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the clinical team, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered.
  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery and treatment outcomes, ensuring clinical KPIs are met and amended where necessary.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship for clinical staff, offering guidance on patient and caseload management, treatment and rehabilitation pathways and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain clinical governance, risk assessments, and compliance with HCPC and CSP guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of systems and processes to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Lead service development projects to enhance patient care and business growth, cost-effectively and resiliently, to deliver both clinical and business success.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, delivering musculoskeletal physiotherapy to a wide range of patients.
  • Promote and engage with local referrers, community initiatives and marketing opportunities to enhance clinic awareness.
