Role: Service Manager

Location: Bedford

Hours: Monday – Friday 08.30am – 5.30pm

Salary: £35,000

We are seeking a service manager to join a leading provider of vehicle glazing solutions. As the vehicle technician supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the technicians and dealing with customer service and warranty issues.

What will you be doing in the service manager role?

  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians
  • Ensure all technical operations comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges during product development and installation phases.
  • Fleet management of company vehicles

What we would like from you:

  • Strong knowledge of vehicles ideally to include windscreens
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Understanding of industry standards, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and collaboration.
