Trainee Chef

The Catering and Hospitality division here at Interaction Recruitment in Northampton are currently seeking a Trainee Chef, Commis Chef or Demi Chef to work on a full time.

Permanent Role - Trainee Chef

You can work either 4x days (10hours shifts) or 5x days (8hours shifts)

Salary will be c.£24k to £25.2k (negotiable depending on experience) + overtime + tips + benefits and perks.

The candidate:

• Must be flexible, adaptable, passionate, innovative, a good listener with excellent communication skills
• Shall be customer service focussed and have the ability to adapt to customer facing duties
• Can evident career history in the form of an up to date CV and references
• Will hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle due to location
• Should possess a Food Hygiene Level 1 but not necessary
• Would be a good all rounder willing to learn all sections of the kitchen
• Might have worked in a big commercial kitchen as a KP, Kitchen Assistant,Trainee Chef

The successful candidate will conduct a trial as part of the interview process whereby a plate will be made up or a sauce will be made from scratch or a fish will require filleting. It is imperative that applicants of this role has some cooking experience in a profressional capacity to be prepared for the trial.
