Position: Site Electrician
Salary: 15 - 20
Location: Bedford
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Electrician to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Bedford.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Site Electrician to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
You will be responsible for:
- Install controls on systems on site & occasionally at Client's locations (Uk).
- Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
Experience:
- Have experience installing control panels to systems.
