About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand the client base. The role requires a proven track record in sales and business development, with a focus on building strong relationships and achieving ambitious revenue targets.

What We’re Looking For:The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and sales, ideally within the relocation, human resources, or people services industries. You should be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen, and a strategic mindset.

They are prepared to offer a highly competitive package to secure the right candidate, with flexibility to tailor the compensation based on experience. Commission is ongoing for the duration of the client relationship, alongside a car allowance, pension, and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed personal and company targets.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct market research and proactively identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Account Management: Manage the implementation of new accounts, support onboarding processes, and create strategies to upsell and cross-sell services for continued client growth.
  • Presentations and Events: Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to potential clients. Represent the company at relevant industry events and exhibitions.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Significant experience in business development or sales, preferably within the relocation, mobility, or HR-related industries.
  • A strong understanding of sales principles, client acquisition techniques, and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver effective presentations.
  • Highly meticulous in managing enquiries, preparing proposals, and delivering bids.
  • Ability to use data to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and marketing tools.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
  • Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Luton and have reliable transport (car or public transport).
