Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for a Business Development Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a well-known cleaning and support service provider operating in the South of England. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business and growth for all services within the Company. The ideal Business Development Manager will have proven experience in a sales/marketing role and will be confident, proactive and persuasive in your approach.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all Company targets are met in relation to service delivery, sales and growth

  • To create opportunities and book appointments to generate new business

  • To assist in the ongoing management of an effective sales and marketing campaign to maximise the profitable growth of the business by prioritising the market and targeting key customers

  • To actively cold call prospective clients to generate sales appointments

  • To monitor opportunities and prepare prequalification questionnaires

  • Provide input to the Sales & Marketing Manager and Managing Director for inclusion in an ongoing business plan for the Company based upon cleaning, FM, and janitorial supplies, consistent with the Company’s primary objectives of continues and profitable growth

  • To produce all necessary documentation subject to approval

  • To conduct accurate surveys dependent on expertise and the client’s need

  • Responsible for putting together proposals and presenting to clients

  • Responsible for closing new business deals

  • Ensure all work quoted for is costed and approved in accordance with the Company procedure

  • Actively plan visits to client sites, expanding the range of product / services currently supplied to them

  • Ensure the CRM database is developed and improved, all information gathered is correct and up to date. Ensure the database is maintained for effective use whilst protecting the longevity of the database
