As chief operating officer, you will immediately be in a position to transition to Company Director. All that determines how quickly you make that leap is you.

You’ll be joining this longstanding independent insurance brokerage at a crucial moment in its history. Specialising in commercial insurance, it has recently been acquired by a leading UK brokerage group. As the leading company within the group, this medium-sized brokerage is poised right now for exciting and exceptional growth. As COO – and then company director – your mission will be to make that growth happen.

Your key duties as interim COO will include:

  • Managing the successful performance of business operations.
  • Developing and helping implement an ambitious and rewarding growth strategy.
  • Building new client base(s), whilst also nurturing/cross-selling existing client base.
  • Attracting and retaining the exceptional new talent that will help take the brokerage to the next level.
  • Shaping a regime for nurturing excellence, including employee training opportunities.
  • Ensuring efficiency across all the company’s operations, marketing and administration.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an exceptional understanding of what the insurance brokerage needs to succeed.
