We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. 

Summary of the Commercial Manager  role 

Salary: £50,000Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Bedford  Hours: 37 hour working weekResponsibilities of theCommercial Manager 

  • Oversee all commercial and financial matters.
  • Manage resources and teams across departments including facilities, IT and catering.
  • Lead continuous improvement across financial and operational areas.
  • Plan, lead and implement new projects formulating plans and implementing changes.
  • Manage and prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Make proposals and reports on ways to increase revenue and control expenditure. 
  • Performance management of your teams.

Requirements for a successful Commercial Manager 

  • Previous Commercial or Business Management experience.
  • Experience working with detailed financial information and managing budgets.
  • Strong proven leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience producing budgetary estimates, reports, cash flow and financial/statistical summaries. 
  • Project management experience. 
  • Commercially astute with sound business acumen.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
