3D Personnel are currently seeking a Solar Electrician on behalf of one of our clients based in the Bedford area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and calibration of solar products on site.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and calibration of renewable products on site.
- Earthing of all required renewable products.
- Electrically Testing, Electrically Inspecting & Electrically certifying renewable products.
- Completion of Site Handovers to customers, working with Product Support Coordinator to ensure a successful installation.
- Completing a sign off on site to ensure all equipment is operable and site are aware of how to use, manage and maintain.
- Regular completion of preventative maintenance, servicing, health checks, electrical checks, and Solar PV testing, in line with the companies’ guidelines and legislative requirements.
- Complete all required repairs to renewable products as required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- 18th Edition Electrical
- MBPA Level I & II certified
- Earthing & Bonding qualified
- Solar Photovoltaic (PV) certified.
- Generator Awareness certified
- 2-3 years delivering a similar role.
- 1-2 years Generator Mechanical Technician operational role
