Events Consultant - 18 month FTC

Location: Bedfordshire/Hybrid

Our established client is seeking an events consultant to join their team on a full-time 18 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be required to provide event administration support across the whole of the event production team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administration tasks including report creation, organising bookings, and managing data.
  • High volume sales order and enquiry processing.
  • Event management, including booking staff, organising events, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Effective communication with Warehouses, external parties, and suppliers.
  • Customer service support via phone and email, handling event enquiries, and providing on-call support as needed.
  • Shipping and logistics support.

Key skills and experience :

  • Highly organised, flexible, and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude and excellent multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to build rapport and form effective relationships.
  • Minimum of 12 months of administration/office experience, degree educated, and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with a self-motivated nature, capable of meeting KPIs and providing high-level customer service.
  • Experience in events/logistics, with a full UK driving licence and a good driving record (no more than 6 points).
