We are currently supporting a global supplier of industrial products who are looking for a 3rd Party Materials Manager to join their team and contribute to the continuous improvement of their inbound supply plan reliability and stability. In this role, you will be working closely with 3rd party vendors to achieve inventory targets and high service levels to key customers.

About the role:

  • Take ownership of materials planning process, including building and optimising a master supply plan.
  • Develop, lead and manage a team of MRP planners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help maintain critical supply planning and inventory management parameters.
  • Measure, control and report key performance indicators, providing monthly net requirements as part of the S&OP cycle.
  • Ensure correct inventory levels at depots by monitoring and adjusting distribution plans.

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience working in a similar role, ideally within FMCG industry.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with 3rd party vendors/suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with SAP IBP / SAP S4.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.
