Production Operative
Location:Â Outskirts of Bedford (Transport required)
Contract Type:Â Temporary
Salary: £11.50 per hour
Working Hours:Â Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4.30pm
Join our client’s dynamic team on the outskirts of Bedford!
We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Temporary Production Operative to support their busy production team. Training in all aspects of the role is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete ‘hot work’ with rubber joinery as required.
- Cutting materials to size.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required to meet production targets.
- Regularly complete heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Occasionally work on knees (knee pads provided).
- Assemble, package, and label products according to company standards.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specified requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
- Report any issues or defects to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements:
- Reach / Counterbalance licence highly desirable (nationally accredited or in-house)
- Own transport required due to location
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and literacy skills.
- Basic understanding of maths preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
