Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties is partnering with a growing company to recruit a permanent Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team in Bedfordshire.
Role Overview
In this dynamic role, you will support the Accounts Payable team with processing invoices, payments, and month-end tasks. You will play a key part in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end tasks and reporting
Process multi-country import stock invoices
Manage overhead invoices, ensuring correct coding
Process BACS and international payment runs
Resolve supplier queries and process purchase return orders
Set up new supplier accounts
Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts and credit cards
Support the Accounts Payable month-end process
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience with stock and import invoices
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with multi-currency and international payments
Excellent communication skills, both internal and external
AAT qualification or equivalent experience in finance/accounting
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive Salary - 30,000 - 35,000 per annum
