A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a team of six and oversee the accounts payable function. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments while maintaining compliance with company policies.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and creating new supplier accounts in line with company policies
  • Overseeing invoice processing, authorisation, and allocation using internal systems
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Ensuring smooth month-end purchase ledger closures
  • Leading a team through one-to-one reviews, appraisals, and compliance checks
  • Supporting the business with ad-hoc analysis and projects


What's Required:

  • Proven experience leading an Accounts Payable team in a medium/large organisation
  • Strong knowledge of AP functions, accounting systems, and MS Excel (Pivot Tables & V-lookups)
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a "can-do" attitude
  • The resilience to thrive in a dynamic, growing business
