We are looking for a Finance Manager with strong experience in retail finance to oversee transactional finance teams and support in budgeting / analysis. Description
Finance Manager
- Inventory & Cost Control: Manage stock valuation, inventory turnover, and cost control strategies to minimize losses and maximize efficiency.
- Retail Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key KPIs, including sales per square foot, average transaction value, and customer conversion rates.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure effective cash flow planning and working capital optimization.
- Pricing & Promotions Analysis: Assess the financial impact of pricing strategies, discounts, and promotional campaigns.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee the accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash management teams, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Monitor the end-to-end order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Studying toward ACCA / CIMA or significant experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good leadership abilities and the capacity to work well with a team
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
