This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business in a newly created Accounting & Financial Controls Manager role. As part of an organisation undergoing a period of innovation and expansion, you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to oversee the day-to-day management of a small finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Presenting monthly consolidated financial results and reviewing them with internal stakeholders and FBPs
  • Managing and mentoring a team of 4 finance professionals
  • Reviewing and overseeing balance sheet and cash flow statements
  • Preparing consolidated financial accounts
  • Analysing and enhancing financial processes, implementing improvements where needed
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles
  • Collaborating with auditors and assisting in the presentation of group forecasts
  • Working closely with the FP&A team to ensure financial alignment

The ideal candidate will be a post-qualified accountant with strong technical expertise and previous experience managing staff. Exposure to revenue recognition is essential, and experience working in a cost-based environment will be a distinct advantage. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to change, and take initiative in implementing process improvements.

This role is well-suited to someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified, likely with a background in practice, and looking to play a key role in a PE-backed business with ambitious growth plans.
