Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Bedfordshire for a Team Leader (Capital & Statutory) to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder is required to support the closure of accounts due to a vacant post in the structure. The post is the lead on fixed asset accounting , managing the asset register and plays a significant part in the production of the annual Statement of Accounts. In addition the post line manages staff related to the capital accounting, bank rec and VAT.
CandidateCriteria
- CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant with extensive experience
- Experience of Capital/Fixed Asset Accounting in a Local Authority is essential
- Experience of managing the asset register and contributing to the statement of accounts work
- Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
