Are you a skilled finance professional with a passion for driving efficiency and accuracy? Restore Technology is seeking a talented Finance Manager to take on a crucial role within our division.

In this position, you'll manage transactional accounting, oversee management reporting, and maintain a robust control environment, ensuring our financial operations are both smooth and compliant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take ownership of the management accounting for allocated Restore Technology sites, including constructing and reviewing site P&L statements
Prepare and post month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals
Assist with monthly group reporting deliverables and board pack preparation
Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts
Support the statutory reporting process, including half and full year group reporting, and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
Aid in financial compliance activities such as VAT returns and stay updated with accounting standards to ensure compliance
Act as the first point of contact with external auditors, supporting the Head of Finance with the audit cycle, preparation, and resolution of any recommendations
Drive a culture of efficiency and high accuracy, while also helping to enhance reporting processes and procedures
Support the Head of Finance in developing and implementing internal audit processes, and be proactive in your own career development

ABOUT YOU

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
Proven experience in a large corporate environment with a track record of producing timely, high-quality management accounts and driving transaction processing improvements
Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in managing and coaching junior team members
Advanced Excel skills are essential, with experience in Microsoft Business Central preferred
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail
A team player who promotes a positive company ethos and takes responsibility for achieving goals
