Are you a skilled finance professional with a passion for driving efficiency and accuracy? Restore Technology is seeking a talented Finance Manager to take on a crucial role within our division.

In this position, you'll manage transactional accounting, oversee management reporting, and maintain a robust control environment, ensuring our financial operations are both smooth and compliant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of the management accounting for allocated Restore Technology sites, including constructing and reviewing site P&L statements
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals
  • Assist with monthly group reporting deliverables and board pack preparation
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts
  • Support the statutory reporting process, including half and full year group reporting, and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Aid in financial compliance activities such as VAT returns and stay updated with accounting standards to ensure compliance
  • Act as the first point of contact with external auditors, supporting the Head of Finance with the audit cycle, preparation, and resolution of any recommendations
  • Drive a culture of efficiency and high accuracy, while also helping to enhance reporting processes and procedures
  • Support the Head of Finance in developing and implementing internal audit processes, and be proactive in your own career development

ABOUT YOU

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
  • Proven experience in a large corporate environment with a track record of producing timely, high-quality management accounts and driving transaction processing improvements
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in managing and coaching junior team members
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, with experience in Microsoft Business Central preferred
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail
  • A team player who promotes a positive company ethos and takes responsibility for achieving goals
