Our client is a Broker, based in Bedford looking for an IBA technician . The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an excellent service, supporting targets, and ensuring that all responsibilities are completed in line with company policies.
Main Duties:
- Develop positive relationships with Business Units, Suppliers, and Markets
- Assist in reviewing and processing IBA payment requests
- Handle and maintain a portfolio of insurers
- Forward IBA settlements to cashiers within agreed time frames
- Resolve queries promptly and efficiently, maintaining courteous communication in line with Service Level Agreements
- Ensure timely completion of cash identification and matching tasks
- Assist with account reconciliation as needed
- Promptly report any issues that could affect the department or the company
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on company systems
Essential Skills Required:
- Customer-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
- Some IBA experience or knowledge of insurance market processes
Desirable:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English to Grade C or above
- Understanding of insurance market procedures and processes is an advantage
