Senior Acoustic Consultant

Our client is a reputable independent consultancy that specialises in architectural and environmental acoustics. They are looking for a dedicated Acoustic Consultant to join their team. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in rural, urban, and industrial settings across the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will receive personalised mentoring and work in a supportive environment known for developing professionals capable of meeting diverse challenges.

Requirements:

  • A BSc and/or MSc in Acoustics or a related field, along with membership with the Institute of Acoustics
  • Previous experience with EIA-scale projects within the renewable energy sector or general construction environment
  • Proficiency in conducting noise assessments and surveys for energy infrastructure-related projects
  • Valid UK driver's licence

Responsibilities:

  • Close coordination with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborating at all stages of a project's lifecycle
  • Executing background noise surveys and predictions to create noise chapters for EIA and other supporting documents
  • Utilising advanced problem-solving and workplace best practices to uphold company integrity
