Senior Acoustic Consultant:

My client is one of the leading environmental consultancies in the UK, my client specialises in acoustics and is renowned for its work on diverse projects such as residential, commercial, and industrial developments. They also have extensive experience in undertaking projects related to education and healthcare sectors.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Acoustics or a related technical discipline (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering) and is a member of MIOA/FIOA
  • Ability to nurture technical growth of teams through effective management
  • Comprehensive expertise in Environmental Acoustics
  • Experience in acoustic consultancy at a senior level
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager, encompassing responsibilities such as budgeting, client proposals, scheduling, and report writing
  • Proven track record in successful business development

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging as the first port of call for clients, handling inquiries, and devising proposals
  • Guiding a team to guarantee the on-time delivery of all project outcomes
  • Managing support team activities, including hiring, performance assessments, and individual growth strategies
  • Nurturing connections within the acoustics industry to drive business expansion
  • Offering technical expertise and overseeing project execution
  • Taking charge of projects of different sizes in the role of project manager
