What you'll do:

As a HR Advisor, your role will be pivotal in managing contacts from stakeholders and employees into the People Team. You will coach managers to enhance their people management skills while managing a range of employee relations cases. Supporting conflict resolution will be essential, and you'll make sure that every correspondence complies with legal requirements and is properly documented. You will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of change programmes.

  • Manage contacts into the People Team from stakeholders and colleagues via various channels, providing first point of contact service.
  • Manage a variety of employee relations cases effectively, ensuring a fair, rational and consistent approach across the organisation.
  • Educate and support managers in employee relations matters to improve people management competence.
  • Support conflict resolution
  • Ensure all correspondence meets minimum standards/legal obligations and is recorded appropriately in line with GDPR standards.
  • Develop strong working relationships with People Partners, providing updates on cases, and advising on potential issues occurring.
  • Assist the People Team's ongoing efforts to enhance our service offering.
  • Support implementation of any change programmes for Resource Plan and other organisational changes.

What you bring:

In addition to your solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices, you will bring proven experience in a similar role. Strong relationships across the organisation is crucial in this role, therefore, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Your strong organisational and time management skills allow you to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
