HR Advisor

We are currently seeking a skilled HR Advisor for a temporary 10-week assignment. This role is essential in supporting Business Partners to drive operational performance and manage a wide range of cases up to a complex level. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality people management practices that align with the aims and values of our organisation.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to line managers, ensuring compliance with employment-related policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR team in the transactional delivery of HR processes, including document management and maintaining accurate records.
  • Handle casework through to completion and act as a point of escalation for HR Business Partners.
  • Contribute to HR projects as required and participate in workforce planning, leadership and talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of providing accurate and consistent HR advice to managers.
  • Trusted advisor with sound HR knowledge and experience in advising on HR/people matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering engaging presentations and facilitating group sessions.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, anticipate issues, and create innovative solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • CIPD accreditation or working towards it.
  • Experience in frontline operational advisory services.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and good practice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience using HR systems for report writing and analysis.
  • High degree of personal resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Comfortable working in both transactional and strategic capacities as required.
