Techniche Global is seeking a Design Engineer for a 12-month rolling contract with a leading automotive manufacturer in Cranfield, Bedfordshire.
The position offers a rate of £27.94 PAYE, which equates to an annual salary of £56,662, or £32.13 per hour if opting out of holiday pay, leading to an annual salary of £65,000.
This hybrid role requires on-site work for three days a week, with early finishes on Fridays, and involves collaboration across Mechanical, Trim, and Electrical disciplines.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Honours) and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive OEM or relevant supplier experience.
Proficiency in CAD, preferably NX, is also required for this role.

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the successful integration of accessories.
Ensure all development processes align with company's engineering standards.
Ensure development meets technical, cost, and timing targets.
Support accessories adoption for Special Versions (SV) vehicles.
Support the team with any technical inquiries, ensuring smooth workflow.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Honours).
Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive OEM and/or relevant supplier experience.
Proficiency in CAD (preferably NX).
