Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for an Inventory and Purchasing Administrator.
Key purpose of the role:
Contribute towards the improvement of the supply chain function and in turn ensuring an improvement in customer service levels, and the Optomisation of inventory.
Main duties:
- Checking and approving proforma invoices with suppliers
- Ensuring freight forwarder booking are made on time
- Ensuring all costs are loaded on to the system
- Management of inventory planning
- Working with and supporting suppliers in maximising delivery performance
Skills and experience required:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate including the use of Excel.
