We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to temporarily join our client's working in a busy stores/warehouse environment, you will be responsible for the document control process for inventory at their Bedford production facility. You will work side by side with their growing team in support of the production line as well as supporting the spares and service business. Additional duties will include cycle counting and validating stock checks, as well as acting as support for the order picking and shipping functions during busier periods.

Previous experience is valued although our client will happily provide training to get you up to speed on their policies and procedures and get you on the road to success. You will be working a 5 day week from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing orders and inbound and outbound shipments
  • Reporting to warehouse manager
  • Document control - Update and maintain all inbound and outbound records
  • Participate in cycle counts and manage stock queries
  • Identify stock that is in the wrong location and escalate as required ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation
  • Picking items for production

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Some logistics knowledge but not necessary
  • Excellent PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Systems, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a member of a small team
  • Good level of general education

Desired Skills:

  • ERP system knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures
