We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AV Warehouse Technician to join the team. Working with their warehouse manager, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and the timely delivery of AV equipment to various locations. If you have a keen eye for detail, exceptional driving skills, and a strong sense of punctuality, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Preparation: Test and prepare AV equipment for events, ensuring all items are in excellent working condition.
  • Packing and Loading: Carefully pack and load AV equipment for transport, ensuring all items are secure and protected.
  • Delivery and Setup: Drive company vehicles to deliver and set up AV equipment at various locations, adhering to scheduled times and routes.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately organize, manage, and track AV equipment inventory.

Requirements:

  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to organizing and handling AV equipment.
  • Driving Skills: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. Experience with driving larger vehicles or delivery vans is a plus.
  • Punctuality: Strong time-management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Technical Knowledge & Interest in the AV industry: Basic understanding of AV equipment and willingness to learn more about the technology.
  • Flexibility: Our industry is fast paced and unpredictable. From time to time, you will be expected to stay late and stay early to get the job done
  • Health and Safety Awareness: Follow and enforce all health and safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of equipment, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an AV or warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
