Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for an opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated team? We’re seeking a motivated professional to join our client’s team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers a mix of operational oversight and hands-on involvement, ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges to ensure efficiency.
  • Identify and address resource gaps proactively.
  • Monitor and improve team performance, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Encourage teamwork, continuous improvement, and cost savings while maintaining quality.
  • Set, monitor, and report on KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records, including WMS data, SOPs, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure goods are transported, received, stored, and dispatched in compliance with processes and legislation.
  • Provide training and guidance to your team on new and updated procedures.
  • Promote a safe working environment and adherence to health and safety policies.
  • Attend and contribute to management meetings, site inspections, and audits.
  • Manage budgets, cost centres, and invoice reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Warehouse Manager role with a proven track record of performance.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead, mentor, and motivate your team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and quality control.
  • Experience in handling investigations and performance meetings.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritise workloads.
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills with a good command of English.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and/or ERP systems and MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Awareness of health and safety standards and regulations.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of international shipping.
