Job Opportunity: Site Manager
Location: Bedford (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: Up to 拢55,000 per annum + car allowance
Looking to take the lead on exciting water and wastewater projects? This role involves managing the design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater plants across the UK and Ireland.
As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of remediation and groundworks projects, ensuring health & safety, quality, and commercial goals are met. With support from the Project Lead, you'll manage site operations, oversee subcontractors, and keep projects on track.
You will be expended to travel across the UK on various sites, but lodging and expenses will be paid.
Key Responsibilities:
路Take charge of site health & safety, ensuring safe working practices
路Manage subcontractors and the site team
路Organize labour and materials to meet project deadlines
路Lead progress meetings and daily site briefings
路Maintain high-quality standards, overseeing subcontractor work
路Deliver toolbox talks and arrange inductions
路Liaise with clients and partners regularly to keep everyone updated
路Manage the schedule of works and ensure the project stays on track
路Provide technical assistance and act as site AP (Appointed Person)
路Compile and oversee installation, repair, and maintenance programmes
Qualifications:
路Mechanical & electrical background (M&E)
路SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme)
路Full 3-day first aid certification
路Black CSCS Card (Management & Professionals)
路EUSR - Water hygiene
路Temporary Works Coordinator
Desirable Qualifications:
路City & Guilds confined space entrant & topman (Medium Risk) (6160-09)
路CPCS Appointed Person (A61)
