Key Responsibilities for a Planning Administrator
- Managing the preparation and submission of a variety of planning applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and adheres to both local and national planning regulations and policies.
- Aiding the Land Manager in managing and meeting project timelines.
- Preparing planning statements and reports as required for various projects.
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and external consultants to facilitate efficient planning processes.
- Conducting research into local planning policies and development frameworks to support the Land Manager in both Local Plan submissions and examinations, and individual site assessments.
- Maintaining accurate records of all planning application documents, site submissions, and related stakeholder correspondence.
Key Skills for a Planning Administrator
- A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field demonstrating strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Education in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, Real Estate, or a related field demonstrating a foundational understanding of property development principles.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Full UK driving license
