Counterbalance Yard Operative
Location: Outskirts of Bedford (Transport Needed)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and dedicated Counterbalance Yard Operative to join their team based near Bedford. This is a full-time position offering a varied role in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling goods in and out, including unloading, sorting, and marking up stock.
- Organising and maintaining a tidy yard and storage areas.
- Loading vehicles with palletised goods and assisting with waste handling.
- Monitoring gas bottle stocks for equipment and performing driving tasks as needed.
- Supporting general site operations and team activities.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a yard environment.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
