Primary Supply Teacher - Sharnbrook, Bedford - £150 PAYE - Flexible work available
Are you a fully qualified teacher who is looking for flexible work in the Sharnbrook area? Do you want more time to focus on the teaching and less on paperwork? Supply teaching could be the answer!
Tradewind Recruitment work closely with primary and SEN schools in the Sharnbrook area including within Northampton and Bedford on a daily basis to help cover sickness, course cover and other absences across the school. As a primary supply teacher, you will be covering classes in a range of different year groups and schools on a weekly basis. We are looking for flexible, reliable and most importantly passionate teachers to join us today. You will play a key part in ensuring the school day flows smoothly in the absence of the permanent members of staff.
Our partner schools in and around Sharnbrook are looking for teachers who have the ability to think on their feet and adapt when necessary. Whilst lesson plans will be available for you and you will have the support of the SLT and other permanent members of staff, an ability to work independently is vital for this role. This role would be best suited to an experienced Primary Teacher but we are open to hearing from fantastic ECTs.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Supply - following plans left by the teacher and ensuring a good standard of learning takes place
- Build rapport quickly with children and adults alike
- Strong ability to manage challenging behaviour and keep low level disruption to a minimum
- Seamlessly adapt to different schools ethos and ability to follow different behaviour policies
About you
- QTS Qualified
- Enhanced DBS Check on the Update Service
- Able to commute to Sharnbrook and the surrounding areas
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children from all walks of life
- Reliable and flexible
- Full Driving License
