Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant - Bedford, Bedfordshire

Are you a recent Graduate who is looking for a role working in a mainstream Primary School? Are you interested in supporting children with additional needs?

Tradewind is working with exceptional schools in Bedford who are looking to recruit inspirational Graduates to join them from January 2025. This role will be a temporary role until July 2025 but could lead to permanent employment for the strongest candidates. This is a term-time only role.

Your role as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will be varied and fulfilling. On a daily basis you can expect to be working closely with the classroom teacher to foster a positive working environment. You will ensure children in your care are able to access the content of lessons effectively and feel empowered to ask questions to aid their understanding. Your role will also involve working with children with SEN including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. Any prior experience in this area would be beneficial but not essential.
